Nobody should have to guess what happens in the room.

Before you arrive
Bring your insurance card, a list of current medications, and the names of anything you have already tried on your skin — including things you bought yourself. Come without makeup on the areas of concern.

Check-in
Ten minutes. Paperwork is short because we ask for history in the room rather than on a clipboard.
- 03
The examination
Fifteen to thirty minutes with the dermatologist depending on what you have come for. A full-skin exam takes the longer end of that.
- 04
The plan
Written before you leave: what we think is happening, what we are going to do, what it will cost, and when we will review it. You get a copy.
- 05
Afterwards
Biopsy results by phone within about a week. Prescription questions go to a nurse line rather than a general inbox.
Bring these four things
- Your insurance card and a photo ID.
- A list of current medications and supplements.
- The names of anything you have already tried on your skin, including things you bought yourself.
- Roughly when you first noticed the thing you are coming about.
Please come without makeup on the areas of concern. It is not a formality — we cannot assess what we cannot see.
How results reach you
Biopsy results are given by phone within about a week, whatever they show. We do not post a result to a portal and leave you to find it, and we do not only call when the news is bad.
Prescription questions between visits go to a nurse line, not a general inbox.
