About the budget question
People leave it blank because they think naming a number means the design will expand to fill it. The opposite is what actually happens: a design drawn without a budget gets torn apart by value engineering a year later, and the torn-apart version is always worse than the one drawn to the number in the first place.
A range is fine. “No idea” is also fine, and is what the $450 consultation exists for.
