Fees, and the help most people do not know they can get.

Nothing here is behind an enquiry form. About a third of our families pay the right-hand column and most of them told us they assumed they earned too much to qualify.

Weekly fees by pattern, at the full rate and at the assisted rate.

  • Lunch, both snacks and tea are in the fee. There is nothing else to pay for a normal week.
  • No registration fee and no deposit. A place is held from the date you accept it.
  • The subsidised column is what a family on the Vermont Child Care Financial Assistance Program typically pays at the highest support level. Your figure depends on household size and income, and we will work it out with you before you decide.
  • We are closed for three weeks a year — the week of Christmas, the week of the Fourth, and a week in late August. Those weeks are not charged.
  • Fees were set on 1 July 2026 and are reviewed once a year, in July, with a term's notice.

Vermont Child Care Financial Assistance Program

What it is
State money that pays part of your childcare bill directly to us. You are not borrowing it and you do not pay it back.
Who gets it
Households under a set income for their size, where the adults work, study, or are looking for work. The ceiling is higher than most people assume — a two-parent household with two children can qualify well into the fifties.
How you apply
One application to the state, not to us. We will sit down with you and fill it in, and we will tell you honestly if we think you will not qualify rather than let you spend an afternoon on it.
What we cannot promise
We are not the ones who decide. The state does, and it can say no. What we can promise is that the answer arrives before you have to commit to a place.
