Inclusive is not a word on a wall here. It is the price list.

A salon with a row of chairs and mirrors along a wall of tall windows.
Illustrative — not the Lakeview room.

Lauren Mitchell opened North & Bloom because she was tired of salons where the same haircut cost two different prices depending on who was sitting in the chair. Here a service is priced by what it takes: length, time, and complexity.

Every service begins with a consultation, and clients receive customized recommendations, upfront pricing, and practical maintenance guidance.

Consultation first, every time

For any colour service you have not had with us, we ask for a free fifteen-minute consultation first — in the salon or by video. It exists so the quote is accurate. We cannot price colour from a photograph, and anyone who tells you they can is going to revise the number later.

What we will talk you out of

Going more than two levels lighter in a single sitting. A shorter cut that will look good for three weeks and then need another appointment. A colour that needs a toner every five weeks when you have told us you can come in twice a year. We would rather lose the booking than do the thing that damages your hair or your budget.

The room

Eight chairs, natural light down one side, and music at a volume that lets you have a conversation or not have one. There is a step-free entrance from the street and one gender-neutral restroom.
