What is included in a final clean?

Every item on the checklist page marked final — sixteen of them, including window tracks, which is the one people assume is extra. The list on this site is the same document the crew works to and the same one the superintendent signs. If something you need is not on it, say so before the bid and it goes on.

Do you carry your own insurance?

Yes, general liability and workers compensation, and the certificates go to your office with the bid rather than being published on a website. Ask and they are with you the same day.

How fast can you mobilise?

A crew of four inside forty-eight hours for most jobs in Maricopa County, and a larger crew inside a week. Same-day happens and it costs more, because it means pulling people off a scheduled job and telling that client why.

Do you work nights and weekends?

Accepted Answer

Yes, and most post-construction final cleans happen overnight because the building has to be empty. Nightly janitorial is by definition after hours. There is no premium for nights on a scheduled contract; there is one for a Sunday call-out.

Who supplies the consumables?

Either. If we supply paper, soap, and liners they are billed at cost plus fifteen percent and itemised. Most building managers supply their own and we stock the dispensers, which is cheaper for you and we would rather say that than not.

Question 6

What is not in the scope?

Accepted Answer

Anything above six feet without a lift and separate paperwork, regulated medical waste, exterior windows above the ground floor, carpet extraction unless it is quoted, and anything the flooring manufacturer's instruction forbids. All of that is in the bid in writing, not discovered at handover.
