You can have the room. You cannot have a different menu.
Which sounds unhelpful and is the opposite. The reason this kitchen can cook thirty-two covers of four courses to the standard it does is that it cooks one menu a week. A separate menu for a private party would be worse food, and we would rather tell you that now.
- The whole room
Thirty-two seats, one seating, the night to yourselves. The menu is still written on the Tuesday, and we will talk it through with you first.
Wednesday or Thursday
From $3,400
- Second seating buy-out
The 8:30 seating only, with the room to yourselves from 8:15. Cheaper, and the room is at its best late.
Wednesday to Saturday
From $2,200
- Sunday cooking session
Twelve people around the pass while Nadia cooks the week's menu and explains why it is the week's menu. Lunch at the end.
One Sunday a month
$135 a person
Prices are the room and the food. Wine is added at cost plus the usual mark-up and billed on the night.
How it actually goes
01
You tell us the date
Wednesdays and Thursdays are usually open eight weeks out. Fridays and Saturdays are second-seating only.
02
We hold it for a fortnight
No deposit while you decide. After that we take half.
03
The Tuesday before
Nadia rings you with that week's menu and talks through anything your party cannot eat.
04
The night
One seating, the room to yourselves, and the same four courses everyone else is eating that week.
